On Sunday 20 July, picturesque Ubachsberg will turn into the vibrant heart of South Limburg's gunnery tradition.
The South Limburg Federation Festival (ZLF) attracts thousands of visitors who are enchanted by a colourful spectacle of archers in uniform, kings and queens in splendour, stately bielemen and festive marching bands. From 13.30, some 50 riflemen march in full regalia through the streets of Ubachsberg - a parade that is a must-see!
Afterwards, the parades will compete on the Kolmonderweg festival ground for the honour of having the best marching band, the best marching band and the prettiest queen. And of course: who has the best archers?
Experience the excitement of shooting with the heavy rifle at the small “bölkes”. For the youngest visitors, there is plenty of fun in the children's village with bouncy castles and a mega sandpit. And meanwhile, there will be fun in the big tent with live music by Toutes Directions, cover band Ton!ght and DJ Lefried.
During the days leading up to the ZLF, there is also plenty to do: a varied party programme full of music, fun and activities for young and old.
