This walking route starts in Epen and follows the hiking junction network along the meandering River Geul towards Mechelen. The picturesque Geul Valley provides the backdrop for this nature-rich walk, with flowing water, lush riverbanks and rolling hills. Along the way, you will pass the historic Volmolen watermill. Please note that the paths alongside the River Geul can be muddy, especially after wet weather. This varied route showcases the River Geul and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it.
