Landschapsroute De Doort ES10

You walk through Meuse beds and channels from days gone by and you pass earthworks from the early Middle Ages or even older. Of course you also pass the nature reserve of De Doort, which is famous in the Netherlands for its tree frog population. The area is also rich in lakes with many water birds. All in all, it is a versatile walk in a varied landscape. This walking route largely follows the municipal Knots network, but is marked differently with its own route arrows with the tree frog and the letter D. The route is often unpaved and narrow, which makes walking more difficult after a wet period. There is also a northern loop in this area that takes you through the wooded area of Taterbosch.
