Windraak MTB-route

The MTB-route Windraak shows you the beautiful nature reserve around the Geleen brook (Geleenbeek), while enjoying steep hills and great technical single tracks at the same time. In this green environment oaks and beeches grow densely packed against the slopes and the banks of the brook are teeming with rare plants. We kindly request to stay on the paths as not to disturb the beautiful wildlife. Additionally, high on the plateaus, you pass idyllic villages like Windraak, Puth and Sweikhuizen, where you can have a pleasant break at a nice café. Also, Terborgh Castle and restaurant ‘de Biesenhof’ are excellent stopping places on this mountain bike route. You can start this route at the countryside carpark in Geleen.
