Parkstadroute doorsteekroute (Voerendaal - Heerlen)

Is the Parkstadroute a bit too long to cycle in one go? With the shortcut route you can split the route into two enjoyable day trips. Start at the golf course in Voerendaal, cycle past the fairy-tale-like Kasteel Terworm and straight through the centre of Heerlen. A perfect moment to do a bit of shopping or enjoy a drink at a terrace!

After that, cycle through the green Park Meezenbroek and rejoin the Parkstadroute, where you can continue the route heading north or south. Of course, you can also start on the Parkstadroute and use the shortcut route halfway for a cycling trip towards Voerendaal.

The shortcut route is easy to follow via the cycling junction network and can therefore be cycled in both directions. On the Parkstadroute you follow the white dots and arrows on the asphalt.
