Wandelroute Valkenburg aan de Geul - Door het Gerendal

Between Valkenburg, Meerssen and Maastricht lies the breathtaking region Buitengoed Geul & Maas, a tourist collaboration of these places. The highlight of this already beautiful area is the Gerendal. The colorful orchid garden in particular is a spectacle, but the hillside forests, the standard orchards and the lovely meadows with herds of peacefully grazing marl landscapes are also highly recommended. If you prefer special architecture, this walking route also treats you to the castles of Schaloen and Genhoes. You follow this incredibly beautiful walking route via the red posts and you start in Schin op Geul, where you can not only park, but where the local train between Maastricht and Heerlen also passes.
