ZLF 2026 kicks off on Thursday with a festive parade through Obbicht. The schutterij marches through the streets in full ceremonial dress, with flags waving proudly and uniforms perfectly presented.

The entire village embraces the spirit of the shooting tradition. Afterwards, a solemn Holy Mass will be held in the festival tent – a moment of reflection, shared singing and gratitude for a safe and connected festival weekend.

The atmosphere then effortlessly shifts into summer celebration during the Summer Bingo Party. Purchase your bingo card for €15.00, take a seat with friends and compete for fantastic prizes – from surprise packages filled with local delicacies and summer essentials to a fully arranged wellness weekend at Thermae 2000, a beer tour for 25 people at Lindeboom Bierbrouwerij, or exclusive prizes from André Rieu himself.
